Meet Dr. Ratliff

As a physician, I create meaningful relationships with my patients and provide the best evidence-based care.

But it’s so much more than that—health is about emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. A core part of my work is finding out where you are in your own wellness journey, and guiding you every step of the way.

Using an innovative direct primary care approach, I’m able to provide optimal patient-centered care—something that everyone deserves, but not many receive.

I spent nine years as a family physician with Novant Blakeney Family Physicians, during which time I served as Lead Physician. In 2021, I joined the team at WellcomeMD, a concierge family practice where I could spend more time with my patients and focus more on helping them optimize their health and wellness. I’m currently participating in a two-year fellowship in Integrative Medicine with the University of Arizona’s Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine.

Mission Statement

I’m committed to bringing the healthcare you deserve to your family and community. Your relationship with your doctor is key in your healing. I’ll meet you where you are and help to bring you forward in your health journey. I will help you save money on healthcare by practicing outside the limitations of insurance, and we will spend time together to address your needs. Above all, I provide great value, create space for open communication, and build trusting relationships.

A Charlotte Native

As a native of Charlotte, I’ve spent my career caring for the people who make up the city I love.

After graduating from West Charlotte High School, I attended Davidson College, where I was a Pre-Med student and majored in Chemistry. It’s also where I met Stephen, the love of my life. We got married shortly after college, after which we had our two boys, Jacob and Benjamin, who are now adults and living in Asheville and Raleigh, respectively.

I went to Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA, then returned to Charlotte for my family medicine residency at Atrium Health (then Carolinas Medical Center).

I served as a family physician at Novant Blakeney Family Physicians for nine years, during which time I was Lead Physician for a team of nine healthcare providers.

Prior to starting my own practice, I was a family physician at WellcomeMD, helping my patients reach their health goals instead of just treating symptoms and sending them on their way.
